The expansion set coming this February, Shining Fates, is a special combination of Shining Legends and Hidden Fates. The regular portion of this exciting new set will contain over 90 cards, and the Shiny Vault sub-set will feature over 120 cards. The highly-desired colossal Gigantamax form Charizard will also become available in this set. This expansion also includes 30 VMAX, V, and over 100 Shiny Pokemon. Players can also use their beloved Sword & Shield Series cards with this expansion set.
Three more Amazing Rare Pokemon are featured in this new set, which was inspired by the successful 2019, Hidden Fates expansion. All three of these have a Legendary or Mythical Pokemon with vivid rainbow backgrounds that extend outside of the frame of the card.
Availability for the first three items begins on February 19, 2021. March 5, 2021, will have the last two items become available. Here are the first three of the five items of Shining Fates that will allow you to begin to get your hands on the cards of this new expansion:
February 19, 2021, will be release day with The Shining Fates Elite Trainer Box, Tins, Collection—Pikachu V box, and Mad Party Pin Collections. The Elite Trainer Box has one foil promo card featuring Eevee VMAX, 10 booster packs, and different accessories for gameplay.
The Shining Fates V Tins will have six booster packs and one foil promo card featuring Eldegoss V, Boltund V, or Cramorant V. Four booster packs will be in the Pikachu V Collection, along with a foil promo card as well as Pikachu V on an oversized promo card. Lastly is the Mad Party Pin Collections. With this you will have three booster packs, Bunnelby, Dedenne, Galarian Mr. Rime, or Polteageist on a promo foil card, and a corresponding pin.
Lastly, on March 5 the remaining two items will release, which are Mini Tins and Premium Collections. The Shining Fates Mini Tins have a metallic coin as well as two booster packs. The Shining Fates Premium Collections also have a metallic coin, one foil promo card with Shiny Dragapult V or Shiny Crobat V, a foil promo card and one oversized promo card with Shiny Dragapult VMAX or Shiny Crobat VMAX, and seven booster packs.
